I met a fellow XJ owner on the XJ list. His name is Scott and he lives pretty close to me in Chicago. I hooked up with Scott and his friend Tom for a day of riding trails and playing in the Rock Quarry at the Badlands. Tom owns a lifted Land Rover with lots of custom fabricated goodies.
Here Tom makes his way through the first part of green trail. He has a really nice Land Rover with a 3" lift and 31" Super Swampers.
This is Scott's XJ. He has a 3" lift and 31" Super Swampers. His XJ also sports an ARB bull bar and a winch.
Tom is checking out the flex on his 3" lift in the rock quarry. The suspension on this Land Rover is incredibly flexy.

The following three pictures are of me having some fun on the big sand hill in the rock quarry. Just for fun, I tried this hill in 2 high. Since the sand was pretty frozen, it was not a problem. However, to better test the Powertrax No-Slip locker, I will try when the sand is not frozen to see if I can make it in 2 high.
