This little Suzuki got itself into trouble when it hit this large and deep mud hole. This is part of the pink trail at the Badlands. You better have a really awesome rig to try out this section of the trail.
The orange trail managed to swallow this TJ. If you don't watch out for the deep ruts they will reach out and grab you. We were able to pull out the TJ with minimal damage.
The next two pictures show a CJ and TJ trying to get up and over a challenging ridge on the orange trail. This is a tough obstacle when it is dry due to trees, roots, rocks and the sharp breakover angle required to make it over the top. It was also wet this day, so very few managed to make it over without a tow.
Here I am after trying to make it over the ridge. I managed to slide sideways in between two trees with no clearance in the front or rear. It was impossible to move forward or backward, so I had to be pulled out sideways and then pulled up and over the ridge.
