Pat's 4x4 Page

Welcome to my Jeep Page. I will be putting Links for fellow Jeep Cherokee(XJ), Wrangler(YJ), Grand Wagoneer (SJ) and 1987-1996 Ford F250 owners to use, kind of like a one stop shop so to speak.

This was our (Jan's) 96 Jeep Cherokee SE on its first trip off-road. (Traded 7/12/03)

This picture was taken on Rampart Range Road, between Colorado Springs and Woodland Park, Colorado.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF FOUR WHEELING

Thou shalt not dismantle 4x4 engines in thy living room.
Thou shalt not pirate parts from thy family car for use on thy 4x4.
Thou shalt not park thy 4x4 in thy garage and let thy family car sit outside.
Thou shalt not use thy grocery money to repair thy 4x4.
Thou shalt stay home at least one weekend a year to mow thy lawn.
Thou shalt not covet thy 4x4 and forsake thy wife and children.
Thou shalt not take strange and beautiful girls on moon-light wheeling trips (unless they are married to you).
Thou shalt not steal thy wife's undies to use for oil rags.

WHEN THOU BREAKEST DOWN...
Thou shalt not look at new vehicles until thou hast made at least one payment on thine own.
Thou shalt wash thy family car at least once for every fifteen times thou washes thy 4x4.

By following these simple commandments and a little luck, you may just be able to keep thy 4x4 and thy wife happy....Good luck....

TEN THINGS JEEP OWNERS HAVE IN COMMON
1) a lite wallet
2) a empty back account
3) a wife/girl friend that thinks you spend more time with your Jeep then her :-)
4) mud at the end of the driveway
5) the address for every junkyard with in a couple hundred miles
6) every Jeep related catalog you can get your hands on
7) a heavy right foot :-)
8) a excuse to buy more tools :-) ;-)
9) a need to wave at brother & sister Jeepers.
10 sometimes you just go out to the garage and lay under it on your creeper
looking for what to adjust/improve next.

It truly is a "Jeep Thing"  and you will soon understand, welcome to our
world.
