We had a club meeting where an ambulance officer gave a talk that got me thinking, essentially he had to say this;
 

4WD injuries are quite possible to be severe traumas (rollovers etc..)

Help is likely to be some time away. You'd better know what to do ...and be carrying a first aid kit that does more than fix blisters.

He suggested carrying lots of decent size wound dressings, saline (that's not past its use-by date) and taking a first aid course.

Would you know what to do if another vehicle had a rollover and the occupants were all unconscious and bleeding severely?
