Southern 4WD experience

Trip prep list:

Fix the alarm essential!

Modify the towhooks essential!

Fit the second battery & rewire lots of the electric's (may have to wait!)

Get a new BRF air filter with replaceable foam sleeves (may have to wait!)

Fit a rear floodlight (may have to wait!)

Fit a rollcage (may have to wait!)

Preparation completed

Got a pre-cleaner for the snorkel (done) and modified to fit

Built a shelving unit in the rear of the 90

Modified the rear mudflaps with hooks (to get them out of harms way)

Fix the airconditioning ($$$$!)

Built an improved version of my radiator cover

Refilled the first aid kit

Got two sets of chains

Fixed the rear door stay

Replaced my worn recovery ropes

Removed the last seat in the back (I had previously removed three)

Got three Jerrycans (Macau motors has NZ Army Jerrycans $25 each)

Got a 12v fridge

Limited to 50 vehicles, this trip will traverse the South Island end-to-end. If you haven't got an entry form, its probably too late.
