I picked up some photos from Bill Ridder in Hinds of some interesting J20s:

The Farewell Spit Tours bus is now retired and is used as a forestry access vehicle to get crews to the logging and planting sites.

The other pics are an 82 (NP Tcase) J20 used for tours of Molesworth Station (NZs biggest farm) and since converted into a camper by its present owner Peter Kelly of Foxton. It was used originally as a Cross Country Rental hire vehicle, then on Molesworth Station and was converted in 1996.  Power is a 4.1 litre Mazda diesel which is badly under powered. Peter is contemplating a conversion to a V8 diesel (6.2 Chevy) or a Nissan 4.2 turbo diesel. It is Peter's third Jeep and second J20. His first Jeep was a 73 360V8 Wagoneer left hand drive. (the first Wagoneer owner I have found in NZ so far - it was great to find a kindred spirit here!)

You might also have noticed that all the pics of J20s have the same bull-bars which were probably included to ensure they appealed to NZ farmers who have always demanded machinery that can take the knocks.
