The Scrambler gets it's tub Durabaked!!
Here is a shot of the texture. Durabak does not lay down smooth like most spray-in liners. It has a somewhat rough finish. This can be adjusted by using different pressure at the spray gun. I varied my pressure between 40-60 psi for each coat. More pressure lays down smoother and less pressure will appear more chunky. By varying the pressure I have a good mix of texture and a very uniform finish.
These are the shots of the finished tub. Cured Durabak has a semi-gloss finish. Durabak recommends it's darker colors for exterior use. It has built in UV protection. The color I chose is "Grey". I have also used Durabak "Brown" with no fading after 2 years.
