	Regional Map (62 KB) This map shows the Canadian River recreation zone in relation to Amarillo, I-40, I-27 and US60. The Blue square denotes the actual recreation zone.
	Large Overview Map (154 KB) This aerial photo shows a clean view of the terrain of the recreation zone and also outlines the boundaries of the Lake Meredith Recreation Area (National Park Service owned)
	Medium Overview Map (152 KB) This aerial photo outlines the area available for recreation usage in brown. The green areas represent camping areas best suited for camping, including RV's. This camping zone extends from the Highway all the way into the Rosita Flats section of the Lake Meredith Recreation Area.
	Small Overview Map (84 KB) Close-up aerial photo of the Bridge and the Sand Flats. This is the main activity area of the Annual February Mud Bogs and Sand Drags (lots of noise, not good for camping). The green square is the normal position for the Mud Bog pit and Sand Drags track. The Green path shows the best route to the event from the highway, and is normally (But NOT Guaranteed) to be passable by most passenger cars and trucks. The blue path shows the road to the Rosita Flats area and is graded and maintained and is easily used by RV's and campers and other larger vehicles.

Lake Meredith National Recreation Area

The Rosita Flats Campground, just east of and accessible from US287, provides minimalist campsites. There is no electricity, no running water, no sewer, no nothing. Basically, there are just clearings, and the area is maintained by the National Park Service.
Accessible to most RV's, 5th Wheels, buses
Access provided via a graded dirt road (with potholes) from the US287 Canadian River Bridge.

Trash Dumpsters are provided at the US187 Canadian River Bridge.
